Adventure Tails is owned and operated by Jess Eustace. Jess has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Calgary and has participated in seminars on canine behaviour and psychology, leadership with your dog, canine body language, and canine nutrition. She is also a certified Pet First Aid Instructor and is excited to offer Pet First Aid courses in Canmore. Jess has owned a wide variety of pets throughout her life, from iguanas to ferrets to dogs, and was employed with the Canmore Veterinary Hospital for two years. She is a proud mama to her deaf boxer Aspen and is actively participating in obedience training with Aspen. She knows first hand how much exercise and mental stimulation dogs need in order to be calm and well behaved while at home. She is very active and energetic and challenges any dog in Canmore to keep up with her! Jess is very excited to offer services that go above and beyond simple dog walking, and she is looking forward to meeting all of Canmore's most adventurous dogs!

Aspen is an energetic and goofy 2 year old deaf boxer. Aspen came to Jess with some socialization issues but through hard work and lots of ongoing training Aspen has transformed into a happy, well behaved and obedient dog. Although her social issues were trying at times, she was a phenomenal teacher and has equipped her mama with all the tools needed to deal with even the most challenging dogs. Aspen is the star student in her agility and rally obedience classes and she knows over 25 hand signal commands. She loves running, biking, hiking, and anything else active and outdoors!

Taylor was adopted by Jess when he was 3 years old. After a rough start recovering from two knee surgeries when he first moved in with Jess, Taylor became a full fledged mountain dog who loved trail running, hiking, canoing and camping. Taylor was such an amazing dog that he was too good for this world, and was taken to a better place at the young age of 7. Adventure Tails exists because Jess wanted to spend more time with Taylor and provide him with a happy, active lifestyle. He will be loved forever and his memory will live on through Adventure Tails.
